The Elite Theatre Company will hold
open auditions by appointment only for the World Premiere
of American Right, a political mystery written and directed
by the ETC Artistic Director, Tom Eubanks, set in a small-town
police station.
Auditions will be held at the Elite
Theatre's Petit Playhouse, 730 South "B" Street,
Suite 20, in Oxnard.
Dates: Appointments will be made beginning
February 20 through March 1, 2010; primarily weekends and
Monday evenings, but may set up appointments on other weekday
evenings if needed.
Rehearsals: Rehearsals begin March 15; three weeknights
and Saturdays.

Casting: All seven (7) roles are open - 4 men; 3 women:
Vince Anders - 40-year-old
professor of Political Science; witty, sarcastic, but very
vulnerable.
Det. Angela Zulinski - 30-something
police detective; smart, honest, but tends to avoid taking
sides.
Det. John Scott - 50-something
police detective; experienced, seemingly even-tempered,
but not forthright.
Mina Martinelli - 20-something
naive college student.
Dan Harper - 30-50 years old;
cowboy horse trainer and Vince's poker buddy.
Roj Londell -40-60 years old;
uncomplicated mechanic; Vince's poker buddy.
Simone Walker - 45-55 years
old; high school teacher; attractive but forever single.
