A Midsummer Night's Dream

By William Shakespeare This Shakespeare classic comedy explores the events surrounding the preparations for the marriage of Theseus, the Duke of Athens, and Hippolyta. The adventure begins with the marital unrest between Titania, Queen of the Fairies, and her lord, Oberon. Their bickering brings unrest to Fairyland and the mortal world. Along with his minion Puck, Oberon sets events in motion to bring his love in line with his wishes. Along the way, mischievous Puck sprinkles chaos throughout the forest. Caught in his web of sorcery and deceits are four young Athenian lovers in a game of who loves who, and a group of six amateur actors, one of which is transformed to outwardly resemble the pompous ass that he is!
